World Wrestling Entertainment hat dem Ring of Honor Champion Bryan Danielson einen Vertrag angeboten. Der "American Dragon" gilt seit Jahren als einer der technisch besten Wrestler und steht bei ROH seit der ersten Show im Februar 2002 regelmäßig in deren Main Events. Danielson, der u.a. von Shawn Michaels in dessen Wrestling Academy trainiert wurde, wrestlete bereits in Japan, Großbritannien, Mexiko und anderen Ländern der Welt. Außerdem versuchte er sich im Mixed Martial Arts, wodurch sich auch sein heutiger Stil im Ring auszeichnet. In den frühen Jahren seiner Karriere stand Bryan bereits unter einem Entwicklugnsvertrag der WWE, wurde jedoch frühzeitig entlassen. Als einer der wenigen Wrestler ist Danielson nicht fest an ROH gebunden. Zwar unterschrieb Danielson, der William Regal Mentor nennen darf, einst einen Vertrag bei ROH, mittlerweile ist er jedoch nicht mehr fest an die Company gebunden.

Mittlerweile wird ROH on HDNet Montags vor Monday Night RAW im FreeTV ausgestrahlt. Wie von vielen Quellen innerhalb der WWE zu hören war informierte man sich in Kansas City über mehrere Verträge hoffnungsvoller ROH Talente. Gut möglich also, dass Danielson nur der erste aktuelle Ring of Honor Wrestler ist, der ein Angebot der WWE erhalten hat!

Soeben veröffentlichte Ring of Honor bezüglich dieses Vertragsangebotes für Danielson, dass dieser ROH Richtung WWE verlassen wird:

Bryan Danielson has agreed in principle to a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment.

Bryan has been an exemplary talent and a wonderful member of the Ring of Honor locker room and family since the inception of the company. We couldn’t be happier for Bryan and all of his successes, many of which Ring of Honor has been proud to witness first hand.

We congratulate Bryan on the beginning of this next journey in his brilliant career, and wish him all the best as he progresses. Many Ring of Honor fans refer to Bryan as the “best in the world” and we look forward to looking on in earnest as he shows everyone watching the wrestling world’s biggest stage just why that is.
